What is waxing?
Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. The waxed area remains hair-free for two to six weeks. If it is done regularly for long periods of times, permanent hair reduction
can be achieved.
What kind of wax will be used?
There are two types of wax which can be used. Hot wax
is used for thicker, coarser hair. Warm wax is for larger areas with finer hair. Upon consultation at Up To My Eyes your therapist will decide which method, or combination, would be best suited to you.
Is it hygienic?
At Up To My Eyes we pride ourselves on our high standards of quality, service and hygiene. We are proud supporters of the ‘no double dipping policy’. This means we do not dip the spatula into the wax pot more than once. Once it touches your skin it is disposed of and a new one is used for the next application. This rules out any possibility of bacteria, hair or secretions being transferred back into the wax pot, and reapplied on to you or the next client. At Up To My Eyes we offer the safest, most
hygienic and most comfortable treatment for our clients.
